------ Schreiber, Joann Marie (28 MAY 1966)

Miss Joann Marie Schreiber of Stoughton, a former Colby resident, became the bride of Lt. Michael Paul Miller, route 1, McFarland, Saturday, May 28, during nuptial rites at Christ Presbyterian church, Madison.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schreiber, Stoughton, formerly of Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Miller, Springfield, Ohio.

Mr. Schreiber gave his daughter in marriage.  Bill Gries sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and Miss Wilhelmina Siemens sang “Where E’re You Walk”, by Handel.

Attending the bride were Miss Donna Rae Schreiber, Stoughton, maid of honor, and Miss Kay Ellen Zimpel, Madison, and Miss Linda Mary Cross, Wauwatosa, bridesmaids.

The bride wore an empire shite gown of silk organza with lace trim, scoop neckline on the fitted bodice, and sheath skirt front with semi-full back flowing into a full chapel train.  Her veil was attached to a leaf patterned headpiece with pearl trim and her flowers were yellow roses with white stephanotis and ivy.

Glen Poyell, Springfield, Ohio, was best man.  Groomsmen-ushers were Mark and Allen Miller, also of Springfield.

The reception was held at Hoffman House East, where there was a buffet supper and dancing.

Mrs. Miller is a 1965 graduate of the Madison general hospital school of nursing, and is now employed as a staff nurse at that hospital.  Her husband is a graduate of Ohio state university, where he majored in conservation.  He is now with the U.S. Air force at Truax Field, Madison.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Miller honeymooned at Yellowstone national park, and are now residing on route 1, McFarland.
