Jerry Pawlak, who was born April 20, 1947, is one of Thorp High School's
graduates who will be going into the military soon. The Army is this Senior's
destination, but he doesn't quite know when his name will be called for service.
Jerry, one of a family of two girls and four boys, lives on a farm 5 miles north
of town. During high school he was an active member of the FFA and one of the
high salesmen for the Curtiss Drive. His hobby is tinkering with cars, and all
engines, models, and mechanical terms interest him. Jerry also works at the
Stanley Corporation during his free time.
