------ Fritz, Donna Mae (11 JUN 1966)

Miss Donna Mae Fritz became the bride of Leroy Paul Schultz in nuptial rites held Saturday, June 11, at St. Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester.  The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Loraine W. Fritz of route 2, Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz, route 1, Curtiss.

Music during the ceremony included “Love Divine, All Love Excelling”, “O, Perfect Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer”.

Miss Mary Ann Fritz, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Miss Diana Schultz, Curtiss, and Mrs. Kenneth Thorson, Eau Claire.  Best man was Albert Schultz of Thorp, brother of the groom.  Groomsmen were David Schultz and Ross Fritz, both of Curtiss.

The bride wore a floor-length gown of white crepe, trimmed with sculptured lace and a waist-length mantilla.  Her flowers were yellow roses and white stephanotis in a crescent shaped bouquet on a shite Bible.  The bride’s attendants were attired in floor-length dresses of light blue crepe with dark blue bodices and empire waists.  They carried crescent-shaped bouquets of white mums.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.  About 150 guests attended.

Both the bride and groom are students at present.  Following a wedding trip to St. Croix Falls, they will be making their home at 2601-X Nebel St., Stevens Point.
