Jolivette, Mr./Mrs. Harris (Silver – 30 JUN 1926)
On Sunday, July 1, 1951 relatives and friends helped Mr. and Mrs. Harris
Jolivette celebrate their Silver Wedding Anniversary at their home northeast of
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).
190 guests were entertained for dinner, afternoon and evening. The tables were
prettily decorated and centered by a three-tiered wedding cake baked by Mrs.
Ralph Dusso of Loyal.
Mrs. Jolivette, nee Beulah Robertson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Robertson, was married to Harris Jolivette in Greenwood on June 30, 1926. They
resided in Abbotsford for some time and came to their present home 4 years ago.
They have three daughters, Mrs. John (Geraldine) Brown, Milwaukee, Maybell and
Mary Lou at home, and four grandchildren.
Out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Brown and daughters, Donna Mae,
April, Susan and Carol, Milwaukee; Charles Jolivette, Mrs. Violet Anderson, Mr.
and Mrs. Bob Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Herzog, all of La Crosse; Mr. and
Mrs. Gay Graffunder and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Rineher, Abbotsford; Mr. and
Mrs. Orville Oswald and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hendrickson and family, and
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dommer and daughter Gail, Spencer.
