Mrs. Jim Short went to Neillsville Saturday to spend a few days with Mrs. Geo. Bue.

The state road from Schaeffer’s corners to John Short’s was completed Tuesday. The men presented their “boss”, Mr. Anderson, with a fine pipe.

T.M. Winter’s new porch, which was finished this week, certainly looks fine.

Ira Davis, who was home for a few days’ visit, returned to his work in the creamery at West Salem Monday.

The Ladies Aid was well attended at Nellie Smith’s last Thursday.

Mrs. John Southard and baby, Maxine, of Neillsville, are visiting her folks this week.

Word was received that Milton McPherson has been sick at San Antonio, but is better.
