Aumann, Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Golden - 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aumann, Sr., of Loyal, began the observance of their Golden wedding anniversary February 3 by attending Mass at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church together with relatives and members of their immediate family. Four of their grandsons, Steven Miller, Donald Aumann, Harold Bentzler and Dale Aumann, were Mass servers and Pat Mrotek of Cadott was lector.

The Rev. Norbert E. King, celebrant, as well as the Rev. Michael Mertens of Willard, were special guests at a dinner served for the Aumann family and relatives at the Star Lodge Motel. The dinner was followed by an open house there in the afternoon.

A gold and white decorated anniversary cake was cut by the Aumann’s daughter, Mrs. Pat (Doreen) Mrotek. Three granddaughters, Sandy Miller, Lori Aumann and Karen Ampe, were in charge of the guest book. Granddaughters Tammi Miller and Michele Mrotek presented those attending the open house with gold net corsages filled with miniature mints.

All eight of the honored couple’s children were present for the observance. They include Louis of Butler, Mrs. Jeanette Bentzler of Greenwood, Mrs. Mrotek of Cadott, and Mrs. Paul (Clara) Ampe, Irban, Clarence and Henry, Jr., (missing one child’s name and where from).
