Lobacz, Breahan Maria (18 December 1981 - 20 September 2014)

Breahan M. Lobacz, age 32, of Withee, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life and grieve her death at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church, in Thorp, with Rev. Janusz Kowalski officiating. Private burial will take place in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 12 p.m. until time of service.

Breahan Maria Phillips was born in Waukegan, Illinois on December 18, 1981, to Brett and Lee (Kenney) Phillips. Breahan moved to Wisconsin, where she was raised and received her education in the Owen-Withee area, graduating from high school in 2000. She married her first love, Willard J. ‘Willie’ Lobacz, on October 5, 2002, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. They made their home in rural Withee. Lily and Lydia were soon after born and their family was complete. Breahan loved her family beyond measure and devoted her life to meeting the needs of those blessed to have known here. Her door and her arms were always open. Her oven was endlessly on. Breahan spent her days with her family, in her gardens, with her animals, and on their farm, where she worked joyously and tirelessly. She will be remembered for her incredible strength, her fierce loyalty, her warm smile, and her tender heart. She was a shining light and a beacon of strength for all who were lucky enough to know her and be loved by her. Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her family and on the faces of her little girls.

She leaves behind her husband: Willard Lobacz of Withee; two daughters: Lily Lobacz and Lydia Lobacz, both at home; her mother, Lee Kenney of Owen; her father, Brett Phillips of Medford; her siblings: Meagan (Chris) Kaiser of Colby, Sierra (Jason) Snapp of Withee, Dylan (Kasey) Phillips of Medford, Dakota Phillips of Appleton, Dalton Phillips of Eau Claire, and Nora Phillips of Eau Claire; paternal grandfather, Russell Phillips of
Waupaca; paternal grandmother, Beverly Phillips of Wild Rose; maternal grandparents, William and Diane Kenney of Las Vegas, NV; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
