Miss Mary Ann Baumgart, rural Unity, exchanged wedding vows with William A. Graumann, Colby, in a nuptial mass at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, Saturday, Nov. 26. The Rev. John B. Pinion officiated, and the mass was sung by the children of St. Mary’s Catholic school. Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baumgart, route 1, Unity, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Graumann, Colby.

Attending the bride were Miss Marlene Baumgart, Wausau, sister of the bride, maid of honor, and Mrs. Kenneth (Janet) Marschke, Wausau, friend of the bride, bridesmaid.

Best man was Mike Meyer, Stratford, cousin of the groom, and the groomsman was Kenneth Marschke, Wausau, friend of the groom.

For her wedding the bride wore a street-length gown of white satin brocade, fashioned in an A-line princess style with a boat neckline, three-quarter length kimono sleeves, and a flying panel at the back, trimmed with tiny bows. The circular veil of imported silk illusion was attached to a crown of taffeta, trimmed with seed pearls and iridescent crystals. She carried a cascade arrangement of white fuji mums with three bunches of bronze-colored grapes, tied with a bronze ribbon.

The bride’s attendants wore emerald green velvet gowns with matching pillbox hats and small face veils.

About 125 persons were present for the reception and dinner which followed at the Colby Hotel. Guests came from N. Kansas City, Mo., Leon, Ia., Skokie, Ill., St. Paul, Minn., Wausau, Stratford, Madison, Park Falls, Wisconsin Rapids, Abbotsford, Marshfield, Colby, Unity, Sheboygan, Lodi, Owen, Menasha, Stevens Point, Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and New Berlin.

The bride is a secretary in the student teaching office at Wisconsin state university, Stevens Point. Her husband is employed by the state highway commission at Stevens Point. They are making their home at Quinnell’s Trailer Court, Wisconsin Rapids.
