Krampien, Carol J. (Neitzel) (17 NOV 1937 - 26 SEP 2014)

Carol J. Krampien, 76, Edgar died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Wausau.

She was born November 17, 1937 in Wausau, daughter of the late Frederick and Esther (Krueger) Neitzel. On April 24, 1954 she married John Krampien at St. John (High Steeple) Lutheran Church, town of Wien. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1990.

Carol and her late husband John farmed in the town of Frankfort for more than 40 years. As a mother and a homemaker Carol enjoyed raising her four boys and was proud of the accomplishments of her grandchildren. She was also a member of St. John Lutheran Church, town of Wien and belonged to the Ladies Aide group for many years.

Survivors include her four children, John Krampien, Villa Park, Illinois, Dwight (Mary) Krampien, Appleton, Kenneth Krampien, Appleton and Dennis Krampien, Wausau, four grandchildren, John, Georgeanne, Jeanette and Nicole Krampien, two great grandchildren, Claudia and Charlotte Krampien and one sister, Myrtle Brown, Phoenix.

Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Podevels and one brother, Elmer Neitzel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. John (High Steeple) Lutheran Church, W1145 Huckleberry Road, town of Wien. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
