Doboy, David Steven (18 June 1953 - 17 October 2014)

David Doboy, 61, of Neillsville died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at the Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville.

David Steven Doboy was born June 18, 1953, in Chicago, IL, the son of Steven and Oleda (Schultz) Doboy. David was employed by Allied Ready Mix Company in Chicago. He was also a fireman for the Palo Fire Department for many years. He moved to Wisconsin in 1981 and married his wife, Sonia Christiansen, who at that time lived in Marshfield. He drove semi-truck for Hamel Forest Products for 14 years and then moved on to Brock Cold Storage, where he worked for 10 years. He and Sonia resided in Pine Valley Township.

David loved to hunt and fish, cut wood, plow snow and help anyone in need. His death is a great loss to his family, and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Sonia; step-sons, Kelly Christiansen of Marshfield and Kevin Christiansen of Neillsville; and one step-grandson, Hunter Christiansen of Neillsville.

A memorial service for David was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 21, 2014, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor John Warmuth officiated.
