Haertle, Albert Louis Jr. (8 JAN 1924 - 24 OCT 2014)
Albert Louis Haertle Jr., 90, Rib Lake, died on Friday, Oct. 24 at Aspirus
Medford Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Holy Cross
Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with
arrangements.
Albert Haertle was born on January 8, 1924 in Milwaukee to the late Albert Louis
and Margaret Elizabeth (Burinske) Haertle Sr. He was a high school graduate.
On April 24, 1976, he married Thelma Rose Stroschine, who survives. He served in
the United States Army and was a driver in a motor pool and was deployed to
Guam. He worked for Aukley Business Interiors for 29 years until his retirement.
He was a member of the VFW and Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two step-sons, Dale (Ginny)
Stroschine of Victor, Mont. and Kevin (Debra) Stroschine of Winchendon, Mass.; a
step-daughter, Lynn (Richard) Brandner of Ogema; nine step-grandchildren; 14
step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Carla
Ludin, and a step-son-in-law, John Ludin.
