Bezlyk, Antone, Sr. (7 November 1904 - 15 November 1973)

Funeral services were held Saturday morning from Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church at Lynn for Antone Bezlyk, Sr., 68, of Rt. 1 Granton, who died May 15, in Neillsville. The Rev. Nicholas Yarmolovich of Minneapolis, Mn., officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bezlyk was born November 7, 1904, in the Ukraine and was the son of John and Tanya Mikalaenko Bezlyk and he was educated there. His marriage to the former Mariz Berzhkna took place May 9, 1924, in the Ukraine. Mr. Bezlyk came to the United States in 1949 and worked in a steep pipe manufacturing plant at Chester, Pa., before coming to Clark County where he farmed from 1956 until his retirement in 1962. He was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

In addition to his wife, survivors include five children: John Bezlyk of Chicago, Il., Mrs. Michael (Zena) Bodner of West Chicago, Il., Mrs. Gene (Lida) Kanrad of Tucson, Az., Antone Bezlyk, Jr., of Chili and Alexander Bezlyk of the Ukraine. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
