Troyer, Loyal W. (22 OCT 1938 – 30 NOV 2014)

Loyal Wayne Troyer, age 76, of Unity passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Golden Living Center Continental Manor, Abbotsford.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Spencer. Burial will follow at Bethany Mennonite Cemetery in Stratford. Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from 6PM - 8PM at Bethany Mennonite Church in Stratford and again from 9 AM until time of services at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Loyal was born October 22, 1938 in Apple Creek, Ohio to the late Dan and Ella Troyer. He married Pauline Burkholder on October 26, 1957,

Survivors include his wife Pauline; his five sons: Dwight (Susan) Troyer of Unity, WI., Titus (Kathryn) Troyer of Farmington, New Mexico, Wilbur Troyer of Moorcroft, WY., Paul (Faye) Troyer of Weiser, ID., and Clinton Troyer of LaGrande, OR. and his daughter Margaret (Tim) Schrock of Hayward, WI. Loyal is further survived by 36 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; his brother Larry Troyer of Lincoln, DE., and his sister Joyce Booth of Wooster, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Owen, Verton, Ivan and Daniel Jr.; his sisters Erma Troyer and Mabel Schlabach.
