Horswill, Marilyn (Marriage - 19 May 1973)

Miss Marilyn Horswill and Dennis Spiegel exchanged wedding vows Saturday afternoon, May 19, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles D. Brady officiating. The couple greeted guests later at a reception at the Wildcat Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Rosetta Horswill of Neillsville and the latte Robert Horswill. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Spiegel of Rt. 1 Neillsville are the groom’s parents.

For her marriage, the former Miss Horswill fashioned a gown of white Sata peau styled with a ruffled, six0tier organza apron edged with satin. Her floral headpiece held a satin-trimmed organza veil. Presented in marriage by her uncle, George Nielsen, she carried a bouquet of white daisies, blue and lime carnations, purple statice and baby’s breath.

Honor attendant Miss Judy Schiesel of Madison and bridesmaids Miss Janet Hainz and Miss Kathy Spiegel wore green, blue and yellow plaid seersucker pinafore gowns and carried arrangements of blue carnations.

Bernard Spiegel, Stoughton, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Jerry Horswill and Eugene Spiegel, Granton. Sharing ushering duties were Larry Steinwagner and Michael Kissling, both of Granton. Brian Steinwagner of Granton was the ringbearer and Gina Mayer, the flower girl.

Nuptial music was provided by Frank Woehrle, Marshfield.
