Korman, Jacob (2 February 1904 - 27 May 1973)

Funeral services were held Friday morning from the Georgas Funeral Home for a Neillsville native, Jacob Korman, 69, of Minneapolis, Mn, who died May 27 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Minneapolis. The Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

The son of Herman and Mary (Cigrand) Korman, he was born February 2, 1904, in Neillsville and was educated in local schools, graduating from Neillsville High School in 1922. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and worked in Milwaukee, Rice Lake and Thorp before moving to Minneapolis in 1930. His marriage to the former Erna L. Hanson took place October 23, 1926, in Chicago, Il. Mr. Korman has been in failing health for the past year.

Survivors include three children, Mrs. Earl (Jean) Geyer of Denver, Co., Mrs. Dan (Mary) O’Brien of Minneapolis, Mn and Robert Korman of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Calla Burley of St. Louis, Mo.; a brother, Henry Korman of Long View, Wa.; and 11 grandchildren.
