Leon L. Przybylski, age 86, of Thorp, WI, passed away on Thursday November 13, 2014, at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, in Stanley, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services and a celebration of his life were held on Monday, November 17, 2014, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Thorp. The Rev. Leon Leonard Przybylski was born in Chicago, IL on October 7, 1928, to Anton and Frances (Borowski) Przybylski. When he was a young boy, his family moved to the Thorp area, where Leon received his education from Thorp School District. Leon was united in marriage to Valerie Bandach in 1950. He worked at Mattes livestock in Thorp, and Bellinger Dairy for many years, where he was a cheesemaker. Later he worked at Stanley Corporation and Rosemeyer Bus Service where he drove school bus for the Thorp School District.

He loved spending time with his family, fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, gardening, and enjoyed a ‘few’ special trips to the casino.

Leon is survived by four daughters: Diane (Ray) Zander of Rudolph, WI, Linda (Don) Disher of Thorp, Elizabeth Przybylski of Cadott, WI, and Antonette Osburn (Russell Zimmerman) of Thorp; 10 grandchildren; Raphael Zander, Jr. of North Carolina, Dale (Kristie) Zander of Stevens Point, WI, Michael (Jody) Disher of Stockbridge, WI, Michelle (Amos) Hurst of Greenwood, WI, Megan Osburn, Jason Osburn, Amanda Osburn, and Scott Osburn II, all of Thorp, and Tyler Kenealy of Cadott; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Valerie; his only brother, Chester Przybylski; and one son-in-law, Scott Osburn.
