Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Altmann and family of Marshfield spent the weekend at the Arthur Reineke home.

Omitted last week from the list of names who attended the Mayenschien reunion at Elroy were: Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bizjak and family of Wausau, Carol Mayenschein of Butler and Mary Lenn Mayenschein of Milwaukee.

Visitors at the John Kile home recently were Mr. and Mrs. David Kile, Jr., and daughter, Gretchen of Appleton; Mrs. David Kile, Sr., of Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl.

Mrs. Chester Daines was surprised last week when her grandson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Pavloski, stopped enroute from Wisconsin Rapids to Michigan, where they will be stationed. The Pavloskis have been living in England for the last four years. Other visitors at the Daines home were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pavloski of Wisconsin Rapids and Tom Daines of Milwaukee.

Dianne Stason of Chicago is visiting her sister, Mrs. Jerome Stremikis.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bizjak and family of Wausau spent the weekend at the John Bizjak home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Behling and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Mosher of Milwaukee visited the Bizjak’s Saturday.

Miss Thelma Palmer, who has been teaching in Lakeland, Fla., for the last year, is spending her vacation at her home.

Gilbert Hardy and daughter, Eleanor, of Withee were recent visitors at the Pirl Burrington home.

Mr. and Mrs. James Kesler and family of Flat Rock, Mich., are spending a few days at the Jack Conklin home. This has been a reunion of the Conklin children before the two boys, Leslie and Jack, leave for overseas duty.

Mrs. Sylvia Winterer of Thorp spent several days recently at the Hugo Kuehl home.

Mr and Mrs. Vilas Emerson and Mrs. Garwin Schrimper of Greenwood called at the Palmer home Tuesday.

Mrs. John Kile was happy this week to hear that her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dietsche, are the parents of a daughter. She has been named Brenda lee. They live in Milwaukee, and Brenda Lee has three older brothers, ages 10, 13, and 15.

Mr. and Mrs. David Mayenschein and family of Milwaukee, and Gail and Pam Andruskiewicz of Thorp, spent last week at the Curt Mayenschein home. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Andruskiewicz called there Wednesday.
