The visit of Floyd Volk, his wife and three daughters brought the happiest two weeks to his mother, Mrs. J. Volk, that she has experienced for years. They arrived Friday, June 15, making the trip by car from their home in Bellevue, Wash. Their visit here was one continuous round of dinners, picnics, family gatherings, etc. They made their headquarters with Mr. Volk's sister, Mrs. R.L. Barnes, but visited also in the homes of his two brothers , Perry of Loyal and Alonzo of Allen.

Last week thery made a flying trip to Milwaukee and Chicago, stopping over a few hours with Mrs. Volk's relatives, the Atkins family, in Stevens Point. Mrs. Barnes accompanied them on the trip and they got one day's "peek" at the Century in Progress Fair.

This is the company in which Greenwood has a special interest and pride, because its president, "Billie" Miller and ists secretary, Ralph Thompson, are also Greenwood boys.

The Volks' home in Bellevue, just across beautiful Lake Washington frofm Seattle, is ideally located. They enjoy a most inspiring view of Mount Rainier as they sit at their dining table and as they lounge in their…(the rest of my article was cut off)
