Adams, Barbara Jane (Marriage - 14 July 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. John Oscar Walk, who were married July 14 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, are making their home in Neillsville. The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated at the 2 p.m. nuptials, which were followed by a reception and dance at the Wildcat Inn.

The bride, the former Miss Barbara Jane Adams, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Adams, Rt. 2 Neillsville. Her father presented her in marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Walk of Neillsville are the groom’s parents.

A gown of organza and venise lace, styled with a sweeping chapel train, was chosen by the bride. Her flowers were roses enhanced by streamers of rosebuds.

Miss Ruth Marg, Granton, was the maid of honor, and Mrs. Dennis Kuechenmeister was the bridesmaid. They carried parasols to harmonize with their blue and pink floral printed gowns.

Serving as bestman was Richard Lawson, Eau Claire. Chuck Urban of Minnesota was the groomsman. Ushers were Roger Rizner and john Rychnovsky.

Soloist, Mrs. Harold Mayer was accompanied by Victor Lehmann on the organ.

A 1970 graduate of Neillsville High School, the bride has been employed in a Neillsville food store. Her husband graduated from the same school in 1964 and works with a local construction firm.
