Miss Kristin E. Gehler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Gehler, 212 E. Fourth St., and Michael John Susa, route 2, Sun Prairie, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Giles Susa, route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), were married here Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

Officiant at the 12:00 noon rite was the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A.N. Schuh, pastor. Sister Alan was organist and the girls' choir of the church sang. Mass servers were Kevin Gehler, Robert and Kelly Franz, and David Enger.

As she was given in marriage by her father, Miss Gehler was wearing a white bridal satin A-line gown in full length, w ith matching satin bow to hold her elbow length bouffant veil of silk illusion. She carried an arrangement of red and white roses.

Her attendants, all of Marshfield, were Miss Judy Apfel, as maid of honor, and Karlene and Kerene Gehler, bridesmaids. Each wore a light blue embossed peau de soie floor-length gown and matching satin bow headpiece, and carried a single long stemmed red rose.

James Gruber of St. Paul, Minn., served the groom as his best man, while Lee and Giles Susa Jr., route 1, Greenwood, were groomsmen. Gordon Earle of Waunakee and Kenneth Kolstad of Nekoosa did ushering duties.

Wedding day events included a reception at 3 p.m. and dinner at 4:30 p.m., both at St. John's cafeteria and dining hall.

Mrs. Susa is a 1967 graduate of Columbus High School and is now a junior student in the degree nursing program at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where her husband is a junior majoring in business personnel and administration. He is a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School. She is also a member of the honor sorority, Sigma Epsilon Sigma.

Mr. Susa also works at Sears Roebuck and Co. in Madison, and he and his wife, after a wedding trip through northern Wisconsin, will reside on route 2, Sun Prairie.

Prior to her wedding, the bride was honored at two showers. One was given by Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, Mrs. James Susa and Mrs. John Susa Jr. at the Peterson residence, and the other at the Gehler residence by the bridal aides.
