Gray, Alfred O. (24 SEP 1899 – 02 SEP 1969)

Alfred O. Gray, 69, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at the Neillsville Memorial Nursing Home. Death was due to complications.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Conrad Mickelson, pastor, officiating, and burial will be made in the Loyal Cemetery.

Mr. Gray was born Sept. 24, 1899 in Vernon County, Wis. Feb. 12, 1927, he married Clara Franz. He received his education in Vernon County and at the age of 21 moved to the Loyal area and farmed until 1950. They moved to the city of Loyal

The Roycraft-Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenneth, West Allis; two daughters, Mrs. Lavern Johnson, Wis. Rapids, and Miss Geraldine Gray, Bloomington, Minn.; nine grandchildren; a brother, Roger, Reedstown; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Mable) Reineking, Grand Marsh; Mrs. Kenneth (Edith) Stafford, Greenwood; and Mrs. Helen Young, Tomah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
