Strege, Friedrich (25 JUN 1889 – 13 OCT 1969)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 
Spencer, for Fred Strege, 80, a former Spencer resident, who died Oct. 13, 1969 
in a nursing home at Everett, Wash.
Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated and burial was made in the West Spencer 
Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Art Huehmichel, Wilbur Buse, Gary Buse, Alvin 
Schwantes, and Herman Schultz. The congregation sang "The Lord is My Shepard" 
and "Lord, It Belongs not to My Care," accompanied by Mrs. Carl Graupner on the 
organ.
Mr. Strege was born June 25, 1889. Survivors include a son, Donald Strege, 
Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Ida Buse, and a brother, Marin Strege, both of 
Everett, Wash.
