Bezak, Caroline Ann (12 AUG 1967)

Miss Caroline Ann Bezak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve J. Bezak of Abbotsford and Roger Herbert Glaeser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Glaeser of Manitowoc, exchanged marriage promises Saturday, Aug. 12, 1967 at 3:30 o'clock.

Mr. Bezak presented his daughter in marriage for the ceremony which took place at Christ Lutheran Church at Abbotsford, with the Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating.

Music during the ceremony consisted of "Trumpet Voluntary" as an organ processional, and two vocal solos, " The Lord's Prayer" and "Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee," sung by Mrs. Glenn Adler of Marshfield, a friend of the bride.

The bride appeared in a floor length gown of pure silk organza fashioned with an A-line skirt. The empire bodice of imported Chantilly lace had a scalloped portrait neckline and teacup sleeves embellished with tiny seed pearls and lace inserts detailed the court train. Her chapel length veil of sheer illusion was secured to a pearl petal cloche and her bouquet was a cascade arrangement of phalaenopsis orchids, stephanotis and ivy.

Attending her sister as matron of honor was Mrs. Marianna Walley of Eau Claire. Dennis Glaeser of Manitowoc, a cousin of the groom, was the best man.

Mrs. Karl Prange of Milwaukee, a cousin of the bride, and Miss Linda Walley of Eau Claire, a niece of the bride, were the bridesmaids, and Miss Tonja Walley, also of Eau Claire, and another niece, was the miniature bride.

Russell Glaeser of Manitowoc, a brother of the groom. Charles Trainor of Green Bay, a friend, acted as groomsmen, and Thomas Walley of Eau Claire, a nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Frank Pelishek and William Schleigg of Manitowoc seated the guests at the church.

The bride's attendants were dressed alike in floor length gowns of sapphire blue chiffon over taffeta. They were designed with A-line skirts, Chantilly lace bodices and chapel trains attached at the shoulders. The matching shoulder length veils were secured to a cabbage rose headpiece. They carried cascade bouquets of tinted blue carnations, white roses and trailing ivy..

Festivities of the wedding day include a dinner for approximately 300 guests at the church parlors, and a reception and dance at the Abbotsford City Hall.

The bride, who plans to continue teaching in the fourth grade at Green Bay, received her training at Taylor County Teacher's College, Medford, and is a graduate of Wis. State University of Stevens Point. Her husband, who attended Manitowoc County Teacher's College and Wis. State University of Oshkosh, of which he is a graduate, is a physical instructor at Green Bay.

After the new Mr. and Mrs. Glaeser return from a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, they will make their home at 833 William Charles Court, Apr. 8, Green Bay.
