NHS Class of ’58 (15 Year Reunion - 1 September 1973)
The Neillsville High School class of 1958 met for its 15-year reunion Saturday
evening at Bali Hai Supper Club. William (Bill) Biggs served as master of
ceremonies and Theodore Ormond awarded prizes. The prize for coming the greatest
distance went to Bruce Crockett, Palo Alto, Ca.
Class members present at the reunion were: Mrs. Addie Jean Asplin Suckow,
Marquette, Mi.; William Biggs, Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Dolores Burr Dahlke, Beaver
Dam; Mrs. Donna Burr Yakesh, Bloomer; Bruce Crockett, Palo Alto, Ca.; Lowell
Gerber, Rockford, Il.; Mrs. Marjorie Hainz Becker, Kenosha; Carolyn Heidemann,
West Allis; Dr. Ell L. Lee, Green Bay; Theodore Ormond, Black River Falls; Mrs.
Carol Schiller Belknap, Eau Claire; Phillip Thompson, Rockford, Il.; Larry and
Nancy Yenni Wendt, Stoughton; Mrs. Jane Dundas Brown, Eau Claire; Mrs. Audrey
Vittallo Stockey, Mequon; Mrs. Rosemary Kurasz Murphy, Greenwood;
Mrs. Sylvia Hagen Dayton, Frank Hrasky, Merlyn and Mary Jean Mabie Kroll, Jana

And what are the ’58 graduates doing 15 years later?:
Seven of those at the reunion listed their occupations as house wife, and only
one is a farmer. Two are registered nurses and three are involved in
education-one as a student teacher, one as an assistant principal and one as a
teacher.
Others pass their days at such positions as police officer, legal secretary,
product control manager, shipping clerk, mail carrier, waitress and housewife,
plant manager, insurance consultant, homemaker and part-time secretary, oral
surgeon, attorney housewife and part-time librarian, salesman, electronics
technician, printer, secretary, typist and barber.
