Globe (8 Aug 1918)

Little Viola Pischer of Granton is spending this week with her grandparents, G. Mallig and wife.

Gus. Grap, wife, and dAughter, Erna, Mrs. Robt. Schlinkert, Len Schultz and wife and Mesdames Albert and Lebrecht Kalsow attended the funeral of Miss Agnes Timmler in Neillsville last Saturday.

Paul Klauer lost a valuable cow last week.

A large number of young folks gave Ben Dudei a pleasant surprise last Tuesday evening in honor of his birthday. The evening was a very enjoyable one.

Lebrecht Kalsow cut his fingers in a binder quite badly last week.

Rev. Parisius and wife entertained about 12 ladies for supper Sunday evening.

Henry Nemitz, Fred Kalsow, Alb. Klueckman and their wives, B. Kalsow and Erna Grap spent Sunday at the Carl Schroeder home.

Miss Ella Mallig spent a few days of last week with her sister in Granton and on Wednesday they were at Marshfield doing business.

Paul Hagedorn and family autoed to Dells Dam Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Len Schultz were at Marshfield last Wednesday.

Herman Schoenherr lost one of his best horses Saturday morning.

Oswald Pischer and wife of Granton were Globe callers Sunday evening.
