Weber, Betty Ann (21 OCT 1967)

St. Thomas Catholic Church, Milan, was the scene of the wedding of Miss Betty Ann Weber of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Weber of Phoenix, Ariz., and Wilfred B. Heindl of Dorchester, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Heindl.

The wedding took place Saturday, Oct. 21, 1967, at 12 noon, with a solemn nuptial high mass celebrated by Father Francis Heindl, La Crosse, a cousin of the groom. Father Charles Schumacher, pastor of the Milan Church, was deacon, and Father Gerald Schuh, pastor of St. Louis Catholic Church of Dorchester, was sub-deacon. The exchange of vows was witnessed by Father Heindl.

The bride chose a Chantilly lace gown formed with scalloped Sabrina neckline and V-bodice. The Victorian skirt revealed tiers of ruffles at the bottom, and a detachable shoulder length train was featured. Long sleeves and a pearled crown with a three tier bouffant veil completed the ensemble. She carried a colonial bouquet of white roses.

The bridal attendants were Miss Margaret Weber and Miss Catherine Weber, sister of the bride, of Phoenix, Ariz.

They wore floor length formals of crepe with Empire waists and A-line skirts. Each shoulder length tulle veil was fastened to a bow in front. Colors selected were burnt orange for the maid of honor and moss green for the bridesmaid. Their bouquets were mums tinted to match their dresses.

Nephews of the groom, David Heindl of Milwaukee, and Jerome Heindl of Dorchester, were the other witnesses to the ceremony.

Music during the ceremony was provided by the church choir with Mrs. Otto Neitzel the organist. The church altar was decorated with gold mums.

About 350 guests attended a reception in the afternoon and dinner in the evening at the Dorchester Municipal Building. Table decorations included gold tapers and mums.

Following a wedding trip to the Great Smiley Mountains, the coule will live on the groom's farm at rural Dorchester.

Out of town guests came from Phoenix, Ariz., Pittsburgh, Pa., Belvidere and Elgin, Ill., Minneapolis, Minn.,, and Milwaukee, Chetek, Milton Junction and neighboring communities.
