Recent guests at the home of Bertha Kraut were nieces nd nephew, Mrs. Alex Kirchunoff of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. James Cattanach and family of Menomonee, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Kraut, St. Paul, Minn.

Mrs. Ted Nelson and children, Christine and Peter of Red Oak, Ia. were guests last week at the home of her mother and grandmother, Mrs. Marie Hauschild, and sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Peissig.

Donald Kraut has returned home from New York City where he attended a reunion of his World War II unit, and also attended the World's Fair.

Paul Kramas and family attended the christening of their granddaughter, Christine Rae, at St. Ann's Catholic Church at Stanley Saturday morning. On Sunday they all took a sightseeing trip to Keshena Falls.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramon Peterson and Diane and friend, Bonnie Hibbs, of Battle Creek, Mich. Returned to their home Thursday after a week visit at the home of his mother, Mrs. Bertha Peterson, and other relatives in this area.

Mr. and Mrs. Ole Gilbertson and granddaughter of Taylor, Wis. were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Martha Harmel.

The annual club picnic will be held at the park Thursday, Aug. 5, with a pot luck supper at 6:30 p.m.

Miss Bertha Schultz of Milwaukee, Miss Martha Schultz of Abbotsford were weekend guests at the home of their sister, Mrs. Anna Tonn. On Sunday they all attended a silver wedding celebration of their niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fredrickson, Medford, at the home of her father, John Meschefske Sr., Medford.

Marlyn Woodward of Rothschild is visiting at the home of his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lueth, this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stecker and family of Ashland, Wis. were weekend guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Ackermann.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schultz visited at the home of the former's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rosenquist, Waukegan, Ill., over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Geary and Dorothy attended a family picnic at Norwalk Sunday. They were accompanied by Mrs. Grace Nicks and Charley Lehman of Owen, and their grandson, Tod Geary, who spent the past week at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Geary, who met him there and then returned with his parents. Guests at the Geary home this week are Sandy Nenzel, Stanley and Pamela Geary of Markesan.

George and Ervin Koerner attended the funeral for their nephew, Harold Koerner, Madison, Saturday, who was killed last week. Other people from here who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Johnson.

Mrs. Anna Hennlich, age 89 years, mother of A.J. Hennlich and frequent guest at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, passed away Friday afternoon. Funeral services were held at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester on Monday morning, with the Rev. Gerald Schuh officiating, and burial was made at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Her husband died in 1955. She is survived by four sons, Wm. Of Clearwater, Fla., Anton of Curtiss, Joseph of Dorchester, Hans of Milwaukee, and a daughter, Gretchen A. Connor, Cudahy, twenty-four grandchildren, forty-six great-grandchildren. Two daughters and a son preceded her in death.

Rev. Roger Tellock left Sunday for Waverly, Ia. to attend a four day district confirmation workshop.
