Anderson, Alfred (20 DEC 1885 – 30 AUG 1965)
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in the
town of Longwood for Alfred Anderson, 79, a resident of Clark County Home for
the aged at Greenwood, who died Monday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield,
where he had been a patient for three days.
The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated, and burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 20, 1885 in Dane Co., Wis. After coming to the Withee
(Clark Co., Wis.) area, he farmed in the town of Longwood until 1959. Since then
he had resided at the Clark County Home for the aged at Greenwood. He was
unmarried.
Survivors include two brothers, Louis Anderson, Hemet, Calif., and Carl
Anderson, Big Stone City, S.D.
