Schultz, Kay (Marriage - 10 November 1973)

The United Methodist Church in Greenwood was the scene of a 6:30 p.m. candlelight service Saturday at which Miss Kay Schultz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schultz of Rt. 1 Greenwood, became the bride of Tracy Heck. The Rev. Eugene Antrim, pastor of the United Church performed the nuptials.

The bride chose for her wedding an Empire-style wedding dress with long sleeves, ruffled cuffs, and a one-piece skirt and train of bridal satin in tru-love sheer. Gold braids accented the Empire waist and cuffs and she wore a crown of gold braid. She carried three white mums accented with blue status.

Diane Johnson of Greenwood served as maid-of-honor; and bridesmaids were Karalee Schultz of Marshfield, Sue Lechner of Kenosha and Judy Block of Hewitt. Each wore a princess styled gown of burgundy crushed velvet trimmed with ivory lace accenting the yokes and sleeve tops. They carried pink mums accented with baby’s breath.

The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Heck of Rt. 1 Greenwood, chose as his bestman Dale Alexander of Loyal. Groomsmen were Sheldon Heck of Greenwood, Dave Alexander of Loyal and Aaron Block of Hewitt. Ushers were Harvey Heck and Barry Dunlap.

Music for the event was ‘Wedding Song” and “Wedding Prayer”.

A reception was held following the services at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood.

The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School and has been employed as a nurse’s aide at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. The groom is employed in Spencer.

Following a honeymoon trip into the southern states, the newlyweds plan to make their home on Rt. 1 Greenwood.
