Deutschlander, Jacqueline Ann (2 DEC 1967)

On Saturday evening, Dec 2nd, 1967, Jacqueline Ann Deutschlander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Deutschlander, rural route, Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., and Charles Louis Pardus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pardus, Rosemead, Calif., were united in marriage at Bethany Baptist Church, Whittier, Calif. The Rev. John R. Morgan officiated at the double ring candlelight ceremony.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose an empire-waist gown of white peau de soie. The bodice and cathedral train were of English lace. Her elbow length veil was attached to a peau de soie petal flower edged in seed pearls and enhanced with sequins.

Miss Judi Emmett, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Vicki Wharton, sister of the groom, Linda Cutrona, cousin of the groom, and Nadja Leone, friend of the bride. They wore identical empire-waist gowns of olive and jade crepe. The bodice was of embossed olive velvet. They carried bouquets of white carnations edged in olive.

James Pardus served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Robert Pardus, Daniel Pardus, both brothers of the groom, and Dave Masclave, friend of the groom. Ushers were Dick Longobardo, cousin of the groom, and John Leone, friend of the groom.

Darcy and Rusty Adams, niece and nephew of the groom were the flower girl and pillow boy.

The mother of the bride chose an ensemble of gold mylor with matching accessories. The mother of the groom woere a two piece outfit consisting of an aqua dress and matching coat. She wore matching accessories. Both mothers wore white orchid corsages.

Dale Harrison, a friend of the couple, soloed "More," "Because" and "The Lord's Prayer" during the ceremony.

A reception for 200 people was held immediately after the ceremony.
