Hansen, Marjorie C. (Braun) (22 DEC 1932 - 25 JUL 2015)

Marjorie C. Hansen, age 82, of Colby, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Stoney River Memory Care in Marshfield under the tender care of hospice with her loving family at her side.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. Family and friends are welcome from 10:00 AM until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marjorie was born on December 22, 1932 to Myrtle (Schaefer) and Henry Braun, Spencer. She graduated with the Spencer High School Class of 1951. After high school she worked at Land O’ Lakes for 5 years. She married Raymond Hansen on March 13, 1954 in Unity, WI. She worked at the Golden Living Center in Abbotsford as a cook for 27 years.

Marjorie was a fun loving and generous person who enjoyed crocheting and traveling around the countryside with her best friend. She was loved by any and all that met her. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Marjorie is survived by her Best Friend, Norman Searer of Colby, her children, Garth Hansen of
Abbotsford, Patti (JoJo) Christophersen of Spencer, Thomas (Annette) Hansen of Marshfield, Stacy (Daniel) Otte of Waterloo, WI, and Julie (Kit) Martin of Noblesville, IN; two sisters: Susan Wozniak of Kronenwetter and Audrey Roselle of West Bend. She will be lovingly remembered by her Grandchildren: Meagan Ryan and Samantha Carol Otte, Emily Ray Christophersen, Curtis Hansen Martin, Hannah Annette and Olivia Marie Hansen, along with her Great-grandchildren: Isaac Raymond Montiel, Jaxon Daniel Otte and Lilly Sunshine Gladowski.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Hansen in 1988, her son Michael Hansen in 2006, three sisters: Sandra (Braun) Ritter, Judy (Braun) Hansen and Shirley (Braun) Matheisen and a brother, Ronald Braun.
