Dietsche, Benjamin V. (18 AUG 1913 – 30 JUL 1968)
Benjamin V. Dietsche, 54, of rout 4, Chippewa Falls, a former Abbotsford 
resident, died at his home Tuesday morning, July 30, 1968.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Hogseth-Pederson Funeral 
Chapel at Chippewa Falls.
Rev. A.T. Blom of Our Savior's Lutheran Church officiated, and interment was 
made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Benjamin Dietsche was born Aug. 18, 1913, in Veefkind (Clark Co.), Wis. He 
received his education athte Abbotsford schools, and his marriage to Dora Lau 
took place on Dec. 4, 1941. He was employed by the Soo Line as a conductor, and 
entered the army in 1942. He served in the Pacific Theatre, and was honorably 
discharged in 1945. He continued to work for the Soo Line following his military 
service. Mr. Dietsche was a member of the VFW at Marshfield, and the Brotherhood 
of Trainmen.
Survivors include his wife, Dora; a daughter, Donna, at home; two sons, Gerald 
of Chippewa Falls, and Allen, at home; one grandson; three sisters, Mrs. Frances 
Schoch, Mrs. Stanley (Bernice) Kostka and Miss Florence Dietsche, all of Stevens 
Point; four brothers, Vincent, Sylvester and Daniel of Stevens Point, and Edwin 
Dietsche of Sheboygan. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
