Martens, Vivian B. (Dallman) (12 NOV 1926 - 7 AUG 2015)

Vivian B. Martens, age 88, of Marshfield, passed away on Friday, August 7th, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Marshfield, WI. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday August 22nd, 2015. Visitation will be at 9am with the memorial beginning at 10am and burial following at Colby Cemetery.

Vivian was born November 12, 1926 to Carl and Ione (Herbert) Dallman in Unity, WI. Vivian was united in marriage to Roy Martens on November 11, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby WI.

Vivian worked with Roy in the family grocery store in Colby until moving to Marshfield were she held various positions as an administrative assistant at Reek Auto and the Marshfield News Herald for many years. She also enjoyed her time volunteering at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshfield. In her later years of life, Vivian loved her social time with her friends at McDonalds and the Patio.

Vivian is survived by her special family friends Ron and Laurie Rehlinger along with their children Nathan, Alex and Hope. She is also survived by her sister in law Violet Olsen of Two Rivers.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy Martens, who passed away in February of 2008.
