Krause, Janice C. (19 OCT 1968)

Miss Janice C. Krause and Robert L. Brandner were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 19, 1968, during a 1 o'clock ceremony at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford, with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating.

Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Krause, Curtiss, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brandner, Medford.

The bride appeared in a floor length gown with a lace bodice and sleeves trimmed with sequins. The train of lace, secured at the neckline, and she wore a veil of illusion secured to a lace petaled headpiece of sequins and pearls. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white carnations.

For her attendants she chose Mrs. Donna Nicks, maid of honor, Mrs. Ruth Zuleger, Miss Joanne Lukas, Mrs. Jean Geiger and Miss Sharon Brandner as bridesmaids. Miss Michelle Fischer was the miniature bride.

They were attired in floor length gowns with velvet bodice and matching skirts. They carried a long stemmed white rose.

Roger Nicks was the best man, and Richard Zuleger, Jerry Werner, Dick Geiger and Walter Krause were the groomsmen. Brian Nicks was the miniature groom.

Mrs. Betty Decker was the organist and the children's choir sang.

Festivities of the wedding day included a reception at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony, a dinner at the church parlor at 4:30 p.m. and a wedding dance at the Dorchester Memorial Hall, with the Norm Lindau band furnishing the music.

The bride works at the Weyerhaeuser Company, Marshfield, and the groom is a machine operator at Packaging Corp. of America, Colby.

They will be making their home at 211 North Second St., Abbotsford.
