Spiegelberg, David H. (27 JUL 1949 – 4 MAR 1970)

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church in Spencer, for David H. Spiegelberg, 20, who died as a result of an automobile accident. The Rev. Andrew Bofenkamp, pastor, officiated, and burial was made in the West Spencer Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Novacek, Duane Nelles, Craig Spees, Tim Theurer, Bill Theurer and Dick Becker.

David Spiegelberg was born July 27, 1949 and received his education at Spencer and was a 1967 graduate of the Spencer High School. He then attended Mid-State Technical Institute, Wis. Rapids, where eh received a degree in Civil Technology. He entered the Navy in August 1969, where eh served as a communications technician.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Silvan Spiegelberg, Spencer, four sisters, Kathy, Linda, Mary and Roseann, all at home; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Becher, Stratford, and Mrs. Rose Spiegelberg, Spencer; and his fiancée, Miss Kathryn Mau, Marshfield
