Ander, John (Victim of Accidental Shooting – 7 Nov 1918)
John, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer G. Ander of Soldiera Grove, ran in
front of his father’s shotgun just as the latter pulled the trigger to shoot a
chicken for his Sunday dinner. The charge took effect in the boy’s head and
neck. It is said the boy will recover.
