West Eaton (21 Nov 1918)

Ben Stanley sawed wood for Mr. Lakotick Thursday, and Friday for Mr. Oznich.

Lyle Bostwick and uncle Ben Stanley visited with Mr. Keefe Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Lou Dimeler and children spent Sunday afternoon at the Bostwick home.

Mrs. Oznich and son, Joe, were Willard callers Sunday.

Lyle Bostwick and Joe Oznich called at Selisker’s Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Dimeler, Mrs. H. Bostwick and sons, Jason and Lyle, went to Neillsville Monday to help make the day a happier one.

Joe Buettner passed through our vicinity last Wednesday with his threshing machine. Joe says he is through threshing for this year.

Mrs. Joe Susa, Jr., and son, Robert, were seen on our streets Wednesday.

H. Bostwick called on Mr. Parkhill Tuesday.

Henry Gemmeke called on his brother, George Gemmeke, Thursday evening.

Mary and Frances Persin called at Selisker’s Sunday.

Joe Oznich has been hauling wood to Greenwood the past week.

Allen and John Davey called at Bostwick’s Thursday. They report Carl feeling fine and it keeps his mother busy getting him something to eat.

Mr. and Mrs. Dimeler called on Mr. Colman of Willard Sunday.

Mrs. George Gemmeke received a card announcing the marriage of Mr. Neville and Miss Annie Wendt. All join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Neville a long and happy wedded life.

Ben Stanley moved his wood saw to Mr.Yartz’s Friday and had the misfortune to break the front axle of the truck.

Mr. Davey and Lyle Bostwick helped Mr. Borgers haul some timbers for his new barn Friday.
