Klueger, Bertha (13 April 1908 - 6 March 1974)

Mrs. Bertha Klueger of Neillsville, a retired Auto-Test employee, died March 6 at the age of 65. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating, and Monday afternoon from the Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, Sheboygan, with the Rev. Victor Meyer officiating. Interment was in Wildwood Cemetery, Sheboygan,. The Georgas Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Klueger, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Schmidt) Dabrenz, was born April 13, 1908, in Eau Claire County and was educated there. The family later moved to Sheboygan. Her marriage to Norbert Klueger took place March 2, 1935, in Augusta. The Kluegers moved to this area and farmed from 1948 until his death in 1959. Mrs. Klueger, who was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, was employed at Auto-Test for many years and retired in 1973.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martin (Marion) Schoen of Sheboygan; four stepchildren: Reuben Klueger, Mrs. John (Phyllis) Gluck and Mrs. Bernice Abraham, all of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Nyle (Alice Mae) Gates of Two Rivers; and by 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by two sisters: Mrs. Peter Zingshiem of Fairchild and Mrs. Alma Henning of Augusta; and by two brothers: Fred Dabrenz of Sheboygan and Herman Dabrenz of Chippewa Falls.

Soloist at the services here Saturday was Mrs. Harold Mayer, who sang “Be Still My Soul” and “The Lord’s My Shepherd.” Victor Lehmann was the organist.

Those from out-of-town who attended the services were: Mr. and Mrs. Martin Schoen of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zingsheim, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kaufman, Amelia Larson and Mrs. Ted Mayer of Fairchild, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bauch of Augusta and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pehlke and Mr. and Mrs. James Kruschke of Eau Claire.
