Brill, Theodore J. (24 JUL 1883 – 28 NOV 1967)

Funeral services for Theodore J. Brill, 84, Route 1, Colby, were held Friday morning. Mr. Brill died of a heart attack Nov. 28, 1967 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Milwaukee.

The Rev. John B. Pinion officiated at the services and burial was made in St. Mary's Cemetery. A general rosary service was held Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m., followed by a rosary said by the Catholic Order of Foresters at 9 p.m.

The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of the arrangements.

Theodore J. Brill was born in the town of Hull (Marathon Co., Wis.) July 24, 1883. Mr. Brill lived in the area his entire life, where he engaged in farming. He was married to the former Lena Hoffman, who died Oct. 3, 1965.

Mr. Brill had served on his district school board, and was a board member of the Hull Cooperative. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, and the Catholic Order of Foresters.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph and Edward Brill, both of Colby; six daughters, Sister Theolene of Boyd, Sister Jolita of La Crosse, Sister Clarone of Menomonie, Mrs. Robert (Theresa) Bergs, Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Allyn (Rita) Sweet, Milwaukee, and a brother, Joseph Brill, Menomonee Falls. There are 19 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
