Ownership of the Loyal Hotel changed hands Aug. 1st, 1970 when Mr. and Mrs. Joe
Kowalczyk of Gilman, Wis. purchased the business from Mrs. Walter Ebert. The
hotel has been in the Ebert ownership for 23 years.
Mr. Kowalczyk has been employed at Cooperative Services – Loyal Store, as a
heating and plumbing man since February 1st of this year. He has 19 years'
experience in the heating and plumbing business.
The Kowalczyks have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls.
