Willard (25 April 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rossow received word Friday informing them that their son, Danny Rossow of Round lake Beach, Il., and a companion had been badly burned, while on a fishing trip. Early Friday morning, in the van there were in, a lighter fluid used in a charcoal grill exploded. Both were taken to the St. Mary’s burn center in Milwaukee, with first and second degree burns to the hands, face and neck. Mr. and Mrs. Rossow spent the weekend with their son at the burn center.

The Merry Homemakers held their meeting and enjoyed some motion pictures last Tuesday evening at the parish center. They had a nice turn out. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Roger Kirn.

Bible Study club meeting was held last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Victor Halbrader. Present were: Mrs. Anna Volovsek, Mrs. Alphonse Volovsek, Mrs. Ronald Volovsek, Mrs. Frank Govek and Mrs. Dorothy Halbrader. The next meeting will be held May 1 at the home of Mrs. Al Volovsek.

Mr and Mrs. Floyd Plautz and family of Greenwood were recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Plautz and Robert.

Emery Gleason is a patient in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ulesich and family of Rolling Meadows, Il., spent a recent Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich.

Last Sunday evening, Mr. and Mrs. John Scharenbrock visited Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordon.

Dolores Quast of Racine visited one day last week with relatives here.
