Butler (25 April 1974)

Sunday visitors at the Arthur Reineke home were: Mr. and Mrs. Joe Enockson and son of Palatine, Il., and Mr and mrs. Ronald Altmann and family of Marshfield. Jay and Kent Altmann stayed with tier grandparents the following week. Saturday, Mrs. Altmann and children and Mrs. Enockson and son visited their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bizjak and sons of Wausau spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bizjak.

May Lynn Mayenschein of Milwaukee was a weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Curt Mayenschein. Sunday, she accompanied her parents to the Frank Andruskiewicz home in Thorp, where they were dinner guests.

Mrs. Hugo Kuehl, a former resident of this community is a patient in a Marshfield Hospital.

While on their way to Wisconsin Rapids Friday, Mr. and Ms. George Reed and four daughters of Hurley were overnight guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Conklin.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Tieman and family of Milwaukee spent Friday and Saturday at the Charles Tieman home. Douglas stayed with his grandparents until the following Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Dietsche and family of Milwaukee visited her mother, Mrs. John Kile, for several days last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Morrison were dinner guests Sunday at the Dick Schlinsogs in Marshfield. Mike and Jill came home with them for a short visit.

The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Palmer and Mrs. Pirl Burrington were dinner guests Monday at the Rev. Le Roy Gross home in Greenwood.

After spending several days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman, Eric Martinson has returned to his home in Union Grove.

Visitors Sunday at the Pirl Burrington home were Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Burrington and family of Albertville, Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Parent and Steven of Humbird, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McIntyre and daughters and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Burrington of Elk Mound, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Guibord and son, Paulette Burrington and Al Enger, all of Chippewa Falls.

Pirl Burrington called on Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bobb at Morgan Plaza in Thorp on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. David Mayenschein and daughters of Milwaukee were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Dubicke, in Thorp and Mr. and Mrs. Curt Mayenschein.

Mrs. Chester Daines has returned home after spending a week with her son, Dr. James Daines, and family, in Menomonie.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cesafsky of Eau Claire were supper guests Sunday of Mrs. Georgia Collins and Ray.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman accompanied Shirley Tieman of Thorp to Lake Mills Saturday, where they were guests at the Dennis Disch home. They returned home Sunday.

Mrs. Dewayne Parent and Steven of Humbird were weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pirl Burrington. She attended the mother-daughter banquet at the Missionary Baptist Church Friday evening. Others from this area attending included Mrs. Harold Palmer, Mrs. Jack Conklin and Mrs. Pirl Burrington.
