Zallar, Rosalie Celeste (18 MAY 1957)

On Saturday, May 18, 1957, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, Miss Rosalie Celeste Zallar, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zallar, West Allis, became the bride of Paul Stephen Plautz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Plautz, Willard (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. Father Augustine Svete, Pastor, officiated.

The bride wore a princess style dress of lace over satin. Tiered nylon tulle was worn over the satin skirt, and a lace overskirt covered both. Her fingertip veil fell from a crown headpiece. Yellow roses and stephanotis were combine in her colonial bouquet.

Mrs. Phillip Plautz, Milwaukee, sister-in-law of the groom, was matron of honor. The Misses Carole J. Lebeck, Milwaukee, a friend, and Miss Karen K. Laykovich, Milwaukee, a cousin, were bridesmaids. The trio wore identically styled dresses of light, medium and dark orchi, and carried colonial bouquets of green carnations circled with white ones.

Cynthia Laykovich, Milwaukee, a cousin of the bride, as flower girl, wore a white dress styled as the aides. She carried a basket of carnations and yellow roses.

The groom was attended by his brother, Floyd, Greenwood, as best man. Charles Klapatauskas, Withee, and Charles Krapf Jr., Greenwood, were groomsmen. David Pakiz, Greenwood, a cousin of the groom, was ring bearer. The ushers were Robert G. Plautz, brother of the groom, and Frank Debevec, a friend, both of Willard.

Following the wedding a reception and dinner were held in the church hall for guests from West Allis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Owen, Withee, Wausau, Loyal, Neillsville and Willard.

The bride and groom are graduate of the Willard State Graded school. The bride graduated from Central High School, Milwaukee and is employed by the Allen-Bradley Company.

The groom is a graduate of Greenwood High School with the class of 1953, and at the present time is with the Armed Forces.
