Guralski, Ervin A. (20 MAY 1929 - 8 DEC 2015)

Ervin A. Guralski, 86, Marshfield went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

He was born May 20, 1929 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late Walter and Clara (Wojciechowski) Guralski.

On November 12, 1949, he married Veronica Literski at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens.

Ervin worked at Anderson Brothers in Wausau as a crane operator. Later, he was employed at Marathon Cheese Corporation until he retired. After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, Veronica, gardening and taking care of his lawn and landscaping. He also enjoyed doing woodwork, such as making bird houses and wishing wells.

Some of his other enjoyments were visiting with his children and grandchildren and taking rides out to visit his siblings.

Survivors include, his children, Marcella (Douglas) Stensberg, Marshfield and Juliet (Richard) Drewek, Weston; six grandchildren, Todd (Marie) Stensberg, Samuel (Laura) Stensberg, Jamie (Matthew) Steiner, Rachael (Don) Meyer, Zachary (Penny Waldburger) Drewek and Winter (Ben) Kostyn; ten great-grandchildren, Sophie and Sierra Meyer, Gracie Drewek, Jackson and Ruby Kostyn, William, Abby and Josie Stensberg and AJ and Wyatt Steiner; his siblings, Raymond (Stacie) Guralski, Edgar, Robert (Alice) Guralski, Abbotsford, Delores Gajewski, Edgar, Walter (Gertie) Guralski, Athens, Joan (Norman) Soczka, Edgar, Violet (Zane) Farkas, Wausau, Lucille (Jim) Kleparski, Marathon and Barbara Diers, Athens; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Besides his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by his wife, Veronica; his son, Marvin; his son-in-law, Russel Karlen; one brother, Arthur Guralski; and two sisters, Janet Steder and Agnes Guralski.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. Rev. Thomas Huff will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa will surely be missed. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
