The members voted to offer lifetime membership in the Clark County Historical Society for $25.00.

A winter recess will be taken, with the next meeting being the first Thursday in March in Clark Electric building at Greenwood.

Jess W. Scott installed the new officers and also made a brief summary of highlights of 1968. Kurt Listeman, Neillsville, commended the 1968 officers and spoke very highly of the fast growing Clark County Historical Society. Mrs. George Schaefer, Christie, served as chairman of the luncheon committee.

A large number of new members were added Thursday evening, accepting the offer of Kurt Listeman to pay one-half of 1969 dues of all new members joining in December 1968.

Mrs. Catherine Weber of Thorp, nearing her 105th birthday, and Mrs. Victoria Kudingo of Thorp, who will be 100 years old this month, were honored by the society. An expression of thanks also went to the Marguerite Listeman Foundation and to Kurt Listeman for past support.
