Bruner, Thomas Richard (7 JUN 1934 - 7 FEB 2016)

Thomas Richard Bruner, 81, Ogema, died in the Aspirus Care and Rehabilitation Nursing Home, in Medford on Sunday, February 7, 2016.

He was born in a tool shed on the family farm in Ogema on June 7, 1934, the son of Melvin and Lara L. (Agnew) Bruner.

He was married to Ella Birchfield, and she preceded him in death on March 15, 2007.

He farmed, built construction machinery, was employed by Prentice Hydraulics, and later by Omark Industries in Prentice until the time of his retirement.

He is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Louise (Leroy “Lee”) Schlinkert, Hamburg, WI; and by nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella; by four brothers, James, William, Charles (Joan), and Robert; and by one sister Sara Bierman.

Cremation has taken place; interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery in Ogema.
