Brzezinski, Donna Jean (21 JUN 1958)

On Saturday, June 21, 1958, Miss Donna Jean Brzezinski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brzezinski Sr. of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of James P. Horner, son of Mrs. Clifford Earl and the late Dale Horner, Milwaukee, at a 11:00 a.m. nuptial service at the Blessed Sacrament Church, Milwaukee. Rev. John Lukaszewicz officiated and Sister Mary Raphael was the organist.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a bouffant gown of rose point lace and tulle. The bodice was styled with long sleeves and a Sabrina neckline highlighted by irridescents and pearls. The very full skirt had a rose point scalloped overskirt which draped over a lace appliqued tulle front, which cascaded down to form a chapel length train. The overskirt was edged in scallops, which were trimmed with sequins and pearls. Her princess style crown of brilliants and pearls was secured by a fingertip appliqued veil of silk illusion. Her spiral shaped bouquet was three white orchids surrounded by white roses.

Mrs. Rosemary Paproche, Milwaukee, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Dale Horner, Milwaukee, sister of the groom, and Jennie Lozynski, Milwaukee, a friend of the bride. All wore strapless coral trapeze cocktail dresses of organza with matching stoles and carried spiral bouquets of yellow carnations and coal gladioli.

The groom was attended by Rudy Godinez, Milwaukee, a friend, as best man; Len Brzezinski, Greenwood, brother of the bride, and Bruce Horner, Milwaukee, brother of the groom, as groomsmen. All wore white and black tuxedos with white carnation boutonnieres.

The ushers were Wm. Brzezinski Jr., Greenwood, brother of the bride, and Donald Baledy, Milwaukee, friend of the groom.

A breakfast followed the ceremony, with dinner at noon and reception at Karlovich Koctail Bar and Hall in Milwaukee, followed by a dance there in the evening.

The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories, while the groom's mother wore a peach colored dress. Both wore corsages of pink roses.

The young couple enjoyed a two week trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan and are now residing in West Allis. The bride was employed by Allis Chalmers Company, and the groom is employed by the Darrott Construction Company.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Belecki, Thorp; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brzezinski Sr. and Leonard, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brzezinski Jr. and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Maricle, Miss Martha Horn and Wm. Horn, all of Greenwood.
