East Weston-West York (2 Jan 1919)

Last Week
Merrill, the five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo More, died last Tuesday of pneumonia and the remains were laid to rest in the Christie Cemetery Thursday. The family has the sympathy of all.

Jesse, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Harper, died Monday morning, Dec. 17, of pneumonia, following influenza. She had only been home from Owen a week where she has been working. She had come home to help care for the rest of the family who were sick.

Pete Boone, Wm. Finder and Theo. Schlinkert are home from the army camps.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schaefer Tuesday, Dec. 17, a daughter.

Mrs. Della Armitage drove to Loyal Friday. Mrs. C.E. Demouth came home with her to stay for some time.

Mrs. Otto Runge is ill with the flu at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mat Schaefer.
