Rychnovsky, Rosalia Marie (18 DEC 1925 – 5 DEC 1959)
Rosalia Marie Kroger, daughter of Gust and Bessie Korger, was born December 18, 1925 in Shelby, Nebraska and was united in marriage at the Corpus Christus Catholic Church in Bakersville, Wisconsin, on May 11, 1946, to Anton Rychnovsky and moved to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1949.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, and its St. Ann's Society, and St. Lucy's group.
Mrs. Rychnovsky was a graduate of State Teachers College at Stevens Point and taught school for a few years.
Mrs. Rychnovsky was taken suddenly ill on Friday, December 4th, and was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she passed away early Saturday morning, December 5, 1959.
The body was brought to the Hill Funeral Home where a Rosary was said on Monday by the children of St. Mary's School, Monday evening by St. Ann's Society and Tuesday evening by the parish.
A Requiem Mass was said at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 9. Rev. Father Edward Hartung, pastor, officiated. The pallbearers were Jerry Sowieja, John Kaltinger, Don Fontaine, Harlan Bergemann, Tom Thornton, and George Seliskar.
Mrs. Rychnovsky is survived by her husband Anton, five daughters, Carol, Connie, Mary, Joan and Margaret; three sons, Robert, Joseph, and James, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Kroger, Lindsey; three sisters, Mrs. Alex Grosbire, Mrs. Peter Grosbire and Miss Dorothy Kroger, all of Milwaukee, and one brother, Harold Kroger of Lindsey.
