Donna Anne Sladich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ignatius Sladich of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and William Thomas Hurt Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Hurt Sr. of 3413 Darien Street, Shreveport, La., before Rev. Bernard Zagst. The attendnats were Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Hurt of Shreveport, La.

The bride was dressed in a street length dress of white crepe of empire styling with lace bodice. She wore a matching lace mantilla and carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The bridesmaid wore a street length sheath of gold crepe with matching headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white and bronze pompons.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Hurt of Shreveport, La. following the ceremony.

The following day the young couple flew to Wisconsin where a dinner was given in their honor at St. Mary’s dining hall on September 7, following by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride graduated from Kenosha Technical Institute as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1957. For three years she had been employed in the Pediatrics department of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. She is now employed in the Pediatrics department of Schumpert Memorial Hospital at Shreveport, La.

The groom has just completed eight years of service with the U.S. Navy, having spent the last two years at Chase Field, Beeville, Texas.

After a honeymoon, the young couple will make their home in Shreveport, La.
